The IdeaThe idea and the desire to help the people of Indonesia, especially the children, first came from many moving images which I (Mike Alsdorf) gathered during my first trip to Indonesia in the year 2000, because I had seen the problems and hardships with my own eyes.During my stay in Indonesia I stayed with an Indonesian family, far away from tourism, and so I gained an impression of daily life.From this I felt resolute and bound to create for the people a life worth living, even if I could only make a small contribution.This aid project came into being in April 2000.Henceforth from the 1st of October 2008 the non-for-profit organization was founded.
