Although we are living in the age of the Internet, there are still 121 million children who have never even had the opportunity to learn to read and write, because their families are too poor, because the schools are overcrowded or too far away. Instead of going to school, the children must work in order to contribute to the cost of living. However education is a basic prerequisite in the fight against poverty.Our goal is that all children in this region can complete a school education. To this end we are collecting the financial means with which to pay school fees, to purchase teaching aids as well as school uniforms and teaching materials. Also, child sponsorship programmes in particular, help us achieve this goal.
