In a sponsorship a ‘parent’ supports a child financially with a monthly contribution. This money will be used tangibly for the sponsored child in order to guarantee them a life worth living, with basic medical care and of course as a school education, to the point of vocational training. They most important thing is that all contributions improve the child’s life in a sustainable manner. Does child sponsorship make sense? All children who are supported by us are part of the child aid project. Through the contributions of the sponsors, not just the child is supported, but also their family too. We help them to help themselves. In this regard, educational work, basic provisions and clear-sighted planning go hand in hand. How much does it cost? In our aid programme there is no fixed monthly contribution, because every donation, no matter how small, is worth a lot in our eyes and is urgently needed. How binding is the sponsorship? You are in no way lawfully bound through the sponsorship, neither financially or in terms of time. You help for as long as you want and as long as you are able to. You can cancel the sponsorship at anytime without adherence to a time scale. How u choose the children for the godchilds project? All our children come from poor families. Some of them are orphans or lost one of the parents. To choise the children we do it outpost and we get support from our Indonesian organization member Kus. In vote with the educators from kindergarden or headmaster of the schools we choise the children and speak with the parents about this support.Because they have to fill some rules. Can I contact with the godchild? Of course you can contact your godchild and we think that´s very good sign. It´s nice too if the godparents write a letter to the godchild that the godparents send a photo so that the godchild and his family can see who support the child. It´s important to show the godchild and his parents that there are people on this world, which give help and hope. It´s important to show that these poor Indonesian people are not alone. What are you doing with the donations? The donations made through the child sponsorship programme will be used tangibly for the sponsored child. The main focuses of this are education, medical care, balanced diet and clothing. In terms of education our focus lies on school education up to the point of vocational training. All the consequential costs for school material, school books, school uniform, school fees etc are also covered by the contributions. We are very happy about all of the sponsorships that we have organised for our children.It make us proud and reaffirms our work and our commitment to the children of Indonesia.Please give the children a future!Every child sponsorship is an investment in our future, because children are our future.
